Hello gentlemen,

it's finally here.
The trailer we've all been waiting for.

STRANDED 3 ×
Grand Theft Auto VI √

Here you can check out the official Trailer released today by Rockstar Games

What are your opinions about it?
How do you feel after watching it?
Do you think it will be up to the standards of, or even better than GTA V was? (judging about the singleplayer campaign).
Moo?

From a vice city fan I would say is okay at best, kinda having mixed feelings about the new gta. The music choosed for the trailer is strange, why not picking from a new artist which have 80's vibes like the weeknd for example? There's alot of stuff rockstar could pick.
Only time will tell if is gonna be a good game or not, we need to wait .

We got Gta 6 before Stranded III

That's a lie! It's just a trailer. I still have more than a year!

It looks quite good and I like the Vice City setting. Vice City is and was the best GTA so far. I'm kind of underwhelmed anyhow. Hard to tell why. Maybe because I'm not a huge GTA fan and because I expected something groundbreaking for some reason.

This is "just" a good looking - and probably very detailed and huge - open world so far. Nothing insane in the trailer. Maybe they're keeping back some surprises?

They still haven't announced any PC release tho... modern Rockstar Games strategy, milk the shit out of the console release sales and then release a PC port, probably a year later if they do it RDR2-style.

@user medeiros: All due to piracy concerns. But there definetly will be a release following sooner or later. Rockstar is working together with a group of people that have developed some standalone multiplayer clients for GTA 5. That should be the dead giveaway that Rockstar is onto something, although we don't really know what exactly we are about to expect.

Although second it could also be that they usually develop for consoles and port the game to PC later. In case of GTA 4 it was poorly optimised and released to early. That wasn't the case with GTA 5. They at least took their time with it what I think is still not great but more acceptable than a whacky bug infested release.

we got gta 6 before cs2d remastered
anyhow the game itself actually looks pretty good, inspiration wise looks like vice city/some hints of gta 5. seemingly looks like we'll have social media platforms in the game judging by the trailer

Is all about the $$$, why they care about piracy when they make millions with gta online? I really hate if the PC port is gonna be released between 2026-2027, impossible to not get spoilers about the campaign.
Not gonna buy a console just to play only gta VI

I'll buy a PS5 for it, because why not. Rockstar at least didn't disappoint as much in the past (if we don' t bat an eye on the Remasters of GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas) and after the release, youtubers are gonna review it and tell us if it's worth it. Play it for 2 years till the PC release will be done and just sell the PS5 again. Easy as that.

Of course it' s about the money, that's exactly what I was saying. High rate of piracy means less revenue from the game. After 2 years, a big margin of the sales is already done and therefore the impact due to piracy will be less. It's well known that PC has a higher rate of piracy. Rockstar has a few studios to pay with a lot of workers, also considering the higher ups with their yearly bonuses and stuff like that. Less revenue will have an impact, usually means that the weakest point in the chain is about to be cut (less pay for staff or getting laid off).

Rockstar is known to make a lot of money focused moves lately. There are some discussions right now going on about recent ideas that some higher ups have made public. Monetizing gameplay time as a paid service, something like that. In their mind it would be not fair at all that a consumer buys their game for a fixed price just to be entertained hundreds of hours in the game. It's an industry standard right now to try and squeeze as much money out of consumers as possible (eg. Lootboxes, Pay2Win, long grinding -> buy for progress, paid cosmetics and many more).

Trying to enjoy videogames nowadays is a time consuming, somewhat expensive hobby without a warranty to get a properly working game.
Hence why I spend most of my free time driving motorcycles or working on my cars. It's just frustrating with all the early access shit, controversies, bug infested releases and so on.
