i was wondering why dc made cs2d and didnt make dota2D
I have a great idea for a new game! What should I do?
DC is a pretty busy man and he won't dedicate to work on other projects or things suggested by other people here no matter what. But someone (or everyone) can freely create such a project like this for CS2D like a mod (modification). Asking DC or telling him to create a new game project is pointless therefore I don't see any purpose or reason for it. 
Dota 2 is copyrighted He's working on something else Dota 2 in 2D would make no sense at all because original game is already semi-top down so he'd just make a shittier version of original and not a new aspect (like playing top down CS which is new) Probably for a few more reasons I can't think of right now.Closed, trashed, w/e, read
GeoB99's post. I developed and maintained a 2D version of Counter-Strike for over a decade. I won't do the same thing again with any other game (it's boring)! So no more 2D conversions from me. I don't like MOBAs. I have no relation to them at all. I don't play them. I only make games that I would like to play myself because everything else is a bad idea. I'm too busy anyway. 1
