I've played with 15 different people while hosting.

Does this game have some kind of a dedicated server?

@ Mami Tomoe: It doesn't. As I recall, DC said somewhere that a dedicated server for CC isn't planned (and it won't be implemented anyway) because it's based merely on lobbies so there's a difference here.

Actually I would now revoke the last sentence of this statement:
It's absolutely crucial and super important to make games as easy to use and as accessible as possible.
Anyway... I still don't see me making a dedicated server for Carnage Contest any time soon
