Oh, was your script that super basic 30 lines script that everyone can script in a few minutes? The point is that we don't accept such basic scripts anymore. There are enough of these in the archive already and they are all the same. Nobody wants them. Waste of space.

Your script consists just of very basic stuff like settings, equips and say hooks? Don't upload it. We don't want it. Please read the upload guidelines next time.

Also note that the reason for the removal was specified in the removal message. You should have read it instead of blindly creating a thread to complain.

I'm already removing the worst maps. However it's hard to keep up with the uploaders sometimes. Also it's a difficult question where to draw the line between "still acceptable" and "should be removed".

Thats true... good maps belongs to the eye of the beholder. But i noticed some downloading activities in the last few weeks. Good stuff mostly get about 10-20downloads in the first week. Unusable maps just about 3-5. Also about the comments. If more than 50% are negative about the file noone will need it and it wont be played on any server. Maybe you could add a notification for mods and ofc yourself that reminds you after 1week after uploading to check the file statistics and so on... if you see everything is fine keep the file if not you know what to do might be useful and it seems fair to the user

Why aren't moderators checking them ? It feels like you're the only one actually doing something about these files in file archive (though I'm pretty sure Starkzz did it too at some point, or still does)

It takes time but the best way is to read the comments. They usually say if the map/script is a complete fail or if it's passable as a map/script.

Reading comments of users with a good taste would be enough.

Or some kind of feature for super-users to let them claim files as "to-delete". It would be good if super-users were more active.

I'm not even saying about new user mode because I know user DC will answer "no".

Well if many of the super-users are inactive i would offer myself for the uploadingsection. Just if they will have the right to judge about crap and no crap for the files then. Otherwise it wont make sense to be S.U. .. just for the increased datasize for uploads, but i dont need it right now.

That would be quite convenient but then lemme quote part of what DC said with a different context:

Also it's a difficult question where to draw the line between "still acceptable as the mentioned rank" and "shouldn't be given that rank".
