Are you bored and you want to play CC so hard but there are no servers or nobody joins yours? Don't you like the fact that there isn't A.I. (bots) in this game?
Well, you can always play vs. you.
Many people should know this, but not all of them.
So here I show the easiest way to play in a You vs. You game.
There still isn't the way to create LAN servers in Carnage Contest, so you need an Internet connection to do this. If you don't have Internet on, I doubt you can have fun playing with just one team.
So, here we go...

> Step-by-Step
1.: Open Carnage Contest.
2.: Host a server.
3.: Create teams like image below.

Just click on the empty team fields below yours and it will create a new one.
4.: READY and let the game start.
5.: You will play each turn of them.

∗ You can also do no-kill gaming, for example - by making each players build a fortress together.
If you want, you can add more "yous" (players) to the game (even if it fills the damn server :P).

√ This tutorial was intended to entertain bored Carnage Contest players, since in these days CC isn't as popular as CS2D or SII, for example.

Have a good you-versus-you gaming!

Thanks for the support of the Unreal Software users and a really big thank you to DC for creating this beautiful game (and all the others are really awesome!), also for his support and for his "black humour" and his jokes that make us laugh everyday we visit this forum. End.

Lol, to run 2 windows of CC in one computer is bad idea...
8 players can play in one CC.

Do you know that you can add more teams in ONE window?

What do you mean by that?

You can add 2 teams for one player. (Push with mouse button on slots)
You can't add 2 teams in 1 slot.

@Vibhor,
Yes, indeed.
You have to select building menu...

@ Vibhor: yes we can.
Bridges, walls...
I did that with friends without killing, it's pretty fun.
In the end I send an Armageddon and see if it's possible to survive.

@ Nemesis: hmmm?

@ guy below Nemesis: fail... it's tried...

New window? Pffft, too much off-topic.

yes, you really don't need to run several instances of CC if you want to play with several players on one single pc (hot seat).

you simply create a team for each player and take care that every team has another color (since same color would be an alliance / team of teams)
now every player controls on of the teams. it works. or you simply control all teams - but this is really boring.

this is actually a feature and intended that way. it allows you to do much great stuff:
for example: two people sharing one pc (each has one team) playing over the internet versus another guy with just one pc and one team.
or 4 players on one pc playing over the internet against 4 other players using another pc.
etc.

for those who don't know how to create teams: click the empty teams slots (the ones in the middle) in the lobby. click slots filled by yourself to change the team. rightclick to remove a team.

BELOW.

This guy is knochen-jochen, Am I right?

Yeap.
Due to my Portuguese I confuse many times "above" with "below", but they are at least written correctly.

Now this is getting too much off-topic.

Can someday help me fix this tut? Since I've seen some critiques here.

um.. yeah. read my post ABOVE
all you have to do is to start CC once, to host a game and to create more than one team. that's it.

DC I love that humour.
Ok, I fixed thread... I hope it's fine...
But I bet it isn't perfect.

I used Blazzingxx's screenshot and gave credits, since I hate people using my stuff without giving some copyright at least...

I have an Idea for CarnageContest. I know DC is not accepting any comments and suggestions, but I really need to say this:

If you remember Garry's Mod you will know what I'm talking about.

For those who never heard of Garry's mod, here is the description:
Spoiler >

Now, what I was talking about is sandbox. I really enjoy games where you can create what you want, and where you want.

Also, the most awesome thing to me is: building forts. I absolutely love to create buildings and my "houses" which have many crazy object such as: doors that slide when pressing the button, cameras, elevators, many details like fridge and wardrobe. You can imagine so much things, that they even can't be counted!

This is where I'm saying the point. Creating your houses in 2D Carnage Contest.
Things that are stopping me to create good forts are:

1. Lack of buildings (there are no plants, no televisions, cameras...)
2. There are no special objects like doors that can close and elevators (almost every fort in Gmod has an elevator)
3. There is no possibility to make buildings in the background. An example is when you want to create a table in the middle of the house, and your house is not really big in height. When you build that table, you cant move to the other side.
4. You can't save your fort. I've already made some cool forts with buildings that are default in CC, but its not...hmmm... "alive". I wanted to save it, but how? You can't save your hard work!
5. Turn based - this thing is the worst when you want to create forts. You want to open a fort server where you can build your own houses, but all other players are annoyed of waiting so long to create their own buildings. This is really awesome made in Counter Strike 2D.

But still... this game is worm based, and maybe this idea will ruin things if it ever becomes implemented (as always, not)

Well, thats all from me now, i would like to know what you think about this idea
