Hi, all.
I have a friend that wants to create an account here in Unreal Software.
But he's too confused between "U.S.", "U.S.G.N." and stuff and his a newbie to forums.
I've told him the basics and the rules of Unreal Software - now, all I need to do is to create an account for him with his e-mail, then the password is sent to him and he can freely use his account.
But I think it will have my IP, right? And it's forbidden to have more than 1 account per IP. But, can I create for him?

∗ Edit: I searched and I found a thread about creating an account for a brother... so I think it's fine to do this. I'm sorry if I couldn't.

... does "your friend" use his own home and internet connection to post here?

Yes, he has another computer.
I know him for a long time, but not personally (knew him at CS2D almost 1 year ago).
I replied this message to test if anything was right.
I made him the avatar, signature and info at the profile according to him.
He gave me password he received in HIS e-mail, I did my job then told him to change pass to one he likes. I can't/wont touch in his account anymore.

I hope you are aware of the fact that this whole story is very suspicious and strange. I actually don't buy it. how will he be able to control the forum if he does not even manage to register? I mean it is easy as hell to register here. all you need to do is filling a form and clicking a link in a mail. every child can do that. you could simply explain it to him.

if you are lying this is your very last chance to admit it. otherwise if we detect that this is just a second account controlled by yourself both accounts will be banned instantly because it is an unacceptable rule violation.

it's probably okay if you are not lying but it still wasn't a good approach.

Suspicious as hell.
LC's U.S.G.N. ID is 8610. Means that he already have USGN & should know what is US.de

I don't think someone with that old U.S.G.N. ID
could be confused between U.S.de and U.S.G.N.de

Anyways, DC accepted it, it's okay.

I'm not lying, I swear for my life. Only a dumbass would take a chance to be banned with this. Belive in me, I'm not lying!

I think he's away or something lie that because of his MSN phrase, but I will tell him to put his ass on this forum and post here with his own "fingers".
Please don't close this.

many dumbasses are using the internet. and some even find this place. I don't know you so I have to expect everything.

yeah could "you both" please post something at the same time (in a window of max 5 seconds)? this would be great. it should be easy to time the click on the submit button when using msn.

I still don't get the reason why he didn't manage to get the account himself. what was his problem?

Ok, he's a newb at forums.
I tried to make him a surprise with this account, he's lazy as hell... let me wait until he's online at MSN.

I have the conversation file here, problem is that it is in Portuguese.
But it's a proof.
And yeah - you don't know me, I wish I could know you. Ahah.

He's offline now... but I'll show you I'm not lying.

But DC, why would anyone make a second account? It just doesn't make sense. XeNium has already have an account so he doesn't need a second one. Just for the purpose of people with no-life that like to break rules and to bother admins? Maybe .

I already banned sooo many users because they used multiple accounts (even though most multi accounts are caused by registering again after getting banned for another reason). some seem to think that it is funny or whatever. I don't know why but I do know that it happens quite often.

Did you even read what is he saying? He is making an account for his friend.
Now the thing I don't understand is this: why someone would make account for someone else?

The best solution is just to guide friend on his own computer to register an account.
Personally, I think even that is really weird, because if xeNium's friend is mentally fine, why he wouldn't know how to register?
Its so simple to register that it can't be simpler. Its even simpler than breathing.

But maybe his friend... uhm... I don't know... how he would post if he doesn't have hands or something like that... OMG

I'm too confused, well he's offline and I can prove it.

The square is grey, witch means he's off...
When he's online we'll settle all of this.

Can I ask you a few questions please? Just to know, nothing personal:

1. If you give him a site where he can register, could he register without any of your help?
2. Does he know that you are registering an account for him?

I know Luis from the CS2D and I think he can register by himself

1. LoL, I'm not calling him dumb. Depends on witch website.
2. Yeap. Some days after I told him a joke about registering an US account for him.
Then I register and told him.

lc has been banned (he didn't use his account anyway) for security reasons. the story isn't plausible. he should create his own account from his place if he needs one.
