I point, or I notice many here really like cs2d actually, but where is the "aim Skill"? you cant even make Headshots, because of the missing, 3d dimension!

Now, there is nevertheless nothing better than doing a Headshot in counterStrike, but you can´t in CS2D, so i asked DC in the German forum if he already thought about that. Im still waiting on his Answer.

I did make some thoughts about it, so this came out:
The Player has to aim on his enemys head for a certain time. Like 0.75 sec. for example (you may notice, that this is actually a long time), before he can do a headshot. (when the time is count down, the player does a headshot when he fires.) This Time may vary from SMG´s to Sniper Rifles. In this Method SMG´s or other fast-firing-weapons should have a longer time to Headshot. sniper rifles should have a shorter "Head-Shot-Countdown" (or sumthin like that ^^)

with this Method its still very difficult to do a headshot, but it IS possible then! You may diskuss about it or bring in your thougt and critisise this! (B4d Sp3ll4)^^

i'm not rly sure but I still do not see the skills in that, yes you'll have to keep your cursor on ur opponent for 0.75 seconds b4 shooting, which WILL cost you a lot, and then you shoot...

CS2D is a 2 dimensional game, lets keep the gameplay basically the same, don't add anything that will make it harder to play while not really helping the game overall, if it's not broken, don't fix it.

CS2D Headshotmode is a stupid idea. How do you want to get a headshot? In the Original Counter-Strike are Headshots a good idea, in cs2d you can't get headshots, or want you get every hot an headshot? Sry for bad English, i'm learning.

gameplay should fit the context of the game itself, thus introducing the "3rd" dimension through a undynamic delay of the shooting is pretty stupid

let me ask you this, if you see someone, would you honestly put your cursor on there for 3/4 of a whole second before shooting? NOPE, it's something often found in noobs however...

Yea i know, but i posted a new method of it, wich may make it plausible to 2D Gameplay. Notice, that every weapon should have different H-Times, Snipes faster and fast shooting wpnz a bit longer (not too long, because of the recoil)

@Firedragon: plz, learn english before talking shit!, And first read my post!

his idea wasn'd bassed on the 3rd dimension, it is working completly WITHOUT the 3rd dimension

EDIT: and there IS an 3rd dimension there just are only sprites, CS2D is, as far as I know, written with an 3rd dimension, you are just looking from the top or something like that. (Please correct me if I am wrong there, but I really think it has a 3rd dimension)
