Off Topic device NOT charging device NOT charging
12 replies I got a Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0
My USB cord got messed up, so I gotta buy a new one.
So what's left is the charger (the thing that needs usb cord)
I bought a new a new charger, USB cord + Charger.
So I have 1 USB cord and 2 Charger.
It's been a month I haven't charge my tablet and now it won't charge.
Note: usb cord, chargers, and my tablet is not made in china.
What should I do? I didn't find answers on GOOGLE
and my tablet is no longer under warranty I assume with usb cord you mean an usb cable that you can connect between your phone and the charger. Buy a new cable, this should fix your problem. Had this problem a couple of times with my Xperia Play. 71 COMMUNITY BANNED Offline
Maybe:
input is broken
USB cable is broken
battery is broken
Try do give your table back, it try to change some of these things. Good luck Put your charger into your tablet, wait some hours, and if it has recovery install a fresh OS @ Sparty: Thanks man, but I tried those site.
Which I found on google
@ Chingy: I bought a new charger(that one that needs usb cable)with usb cable, so what you mean is I buy a new usb cable, not a problem, I'll try to buy a new one.
@ 71: My tablet haven't been charge in many days maybe battery is messed up, i'll give it a try.
@ Marcell: Tried that trick, but wouldn't work.
I'll see what I can do. Also, try testing if the cables work by plugging them into your computer. If they don't work try to buy a new one from a electronics store. They usually got cables. So you have something like this?
Sorry for late reply, I took my tablet to a repair shop(it's an authorized repair centre on samsung).
after a day, they said that my tablet is deadboot, and they don't have a thing called JTAG to fix it. XoOt Super User Offline
Dont trust every repairshop. Most of them tells shit about the real problem. Had it on an older phone of me (galaxy s2, almost had the same problem like you with your tablet). Brought it to an authorized repairshop too , they told its a massive softwareproblem which they cant handle. At least i asked a friend of my father to check the phone (he is working in a repairshop too) after he made it it simple were a damaged battery (buy a new one costs nearly nothing) and the mini usb port on the device has a broken contact. @Chingy Sexy hand
