I think that we can. Both regimes killed millions of people for who they were or for their beliefs.
The Nazis exterminated gays, insane people and national minorities; the Soviet NKVD (the secret service) killed their own soldiers during the war (rifle brigades that walked behind the lines of Soviet soldier and shot the soldiers if they didn't go fast enough or turned back).
The Nazis and the Soviets divided Poland (and the rest of Europe). But for the conflict between they would most likely be fighting together against the Brits, the French, the Americans.
