ID between 1 and 255 expected?

you can easily put 10000 as the value, as far as I can tell S2 doesnt give a flying shit about the ID ranges.
the only thing was if there actually were ~10000 different types of objects, then the loading times of the game would probably escape into orbit but since I doubt this is the case there should be no problems.
